Keely uses photography as a tool to communicate with the world what she sees and experiences; her eye is her voice, which expresses itself through colorful imagery and tells a visual story of interaction between herself and her subject.

Keely was raised in Los Angeles and cultured and educated in Mexico, Spain, Italy and the U.S. Pursuing a degree in International Studies and Romance Languages, she studied and traveled across the globe. While enrolled in her first art classes at the Prado and Reina Sofia museums, she felt deeply moved by the marvels of European artists, compelling her to commence a new journey as an artist.  Since then, she has explored various art forms, cultivating her skills and knowledge at the Universities of Madrid and Florence, Cal State Long Beach, Santa Monica College and Otis College of Art and Design. Currently she resides in the Los Angeles area where she continues to hone her art and photography skills, incorporating the color palettes and composition of the artists and cultures which influenced her most.
